DURING 2022, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS WORK TO BRING MOUNTAIN RESORT COMMUNITIES TOGETHER FOR SHARED LEARNING AROUND COMMON CHALLENGES IN BUILDING EFFECTIVE MENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEMS THAT SERVES THE NEEDS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS. A SPECIAL FOCUS OF THIS MULTI- COMMUNITY NETWORK THIS YEAR WAS WORKING WITH NON-PROFIT LEADERS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE SPECIFIC CHALLENGES FOR BIPOC MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY AND HOW TO BEST ADDRESS THOSE NEEDS. THE FOUNDATION HOSTED OUR ANNUAL CONVENING OF OVER 70 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FROM 10 DIFFERENT MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES IN MAY, DURING WHICH WE EXAMINED DATA COLLECTED FROM SEVERAL COMMUNITIES REFLECTING ATTITUDES ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH AND THE SERVICES COMMUNITY MEMBERS MOST NEED. THE DISCUSSION FOCUSED ON HOW TO PROVIDE EQUITABLE SERVICES TO COMMUNITIES OF COLOR AND NETWORK MEMBERS CONTINUED THE CONVERSATION IN A WEBINAR FOCUSED ON THESE TOPICS LATER IN THE YEAR.
